It is ideal to start to know the options offered by the city, the trekking capital. I always recommend bringing something for lunch when you get to the lagoon. I assure you it will be unforgettable.

It snoed a lot the night before and it dawned with good weather. This time tomorrow at 8:30. We left the 9:40 and we were the first to get on the trail. It is 9 km since the official signalling. But from the beginning of the trail at the foot of the hill we have another 600 m until this signalling. The track is well signaled and, 70 or 80% of the time, is flat. Even the ascents and downhill are of low complexity. So, in terms of complexity, the trail is quiet. But one must bear in mind that they are more than 18km round trip. Then you should go with time and have a minimum of physical preparation. We took 2:50 in the 2:35 Ida on the way back. We started 9:40, we enjoyed the place a bit and we arrived in the car again the 16:30. The trail, on the way, was very snowy and, as we were the first to pass, every step was a surprise because we did not know how ground was beneath the snow. Even so it was a walk without any bumps. We were out of bats, but we took two pieces of wood on the way and used them to test the terrain and assist in support. The walk is wonderful passing through woods, Riverside, plain and ends, after a small ascent in the lagoon. Obviously the landscape in winter is completely different from summer, but it is still beautiful. The Laguna itself is frozen at this time, but it's fantastic even in the cold. The route after the Laguna to the Mirador was not made due to the orientations we received at the Visitor Center (security issues for this time of year). The turn was different, because many people made the trail after us. So much of the snow had given way to the mud, which made the course different. So the recommendations are to go with waterproof footwear because of the snow and mud. And also with clothes cuts wind, because it is necessary in several stretches. However, even with snow it was not cold. With the exercise we take the fleece already in the second km and we pass heat with 2 trousers. In the summer it's another ride. But it doesn't mean that in winter it's not equally memorable.
