Phillip Island Wildlife Park
Hand-feed and pat kangaroos and wallabies at Phillip Island Wildlife Park. There’s a boardwalk around the 24 hectares (60 acres) of wetlands where you can see over 100 species of Australian animals. Many of the animals roam the grounds freely. Meet the largest member of the kangaroo family, the red kangaroo. Bring your camera to snap photos of koalas at eye level. Admire colorful parrots, swans, and pelicans at day, and owls and Tawny Frogmouths at night. Put Phillip Island Wildlife Park and other Cowes attractions into our Cowes vacation website, and watch your holiday take shape.

Phillip Island Wildlife Park reviews

Only saw from outside as it looked pretty run down and did not entice us in. All dry and dusty no green. Felt sorry for any animals that maybe in there. Hopefully they are being looked over. more »

Seems very dated. The price seems very high to get in but it doesnt look like those funds go back into park facilities & enclosures like the gift shop and indoor picnic area. Kids loved the... more »

This a great place to visit with family and young kids. It's recommend to arrive as early as possible before it's too hot and the animals become less active. Entrance fee is not too expensive and each ticket is purchase comes with a bag of animal food. There's a nice verity of animals and you get get really close to some of them. The place is a bit old and does require some maintenance work and some upgrades. There's a lot more potential to this place if the owner will ever decide to do something about it. On the other hand, that's is probably why entrance fee is not too expensive.

We went there many times and think it is a great place for family and children to go. The park have more than 100 species animals and you can feed the kangaroo by hands. $19pp, I can’t say it is in a great value, but it worth this price. The environment inside is quite natural and the animals are so lovely. It is recommended cause it is very different from what you see in MEL zoo.
