    The Mathinna falls road is now open again and was so well worth a visit. Really very beautiful and spectacular after rain. I look forward to going again  more »

    We drove 1.5 hours to get there and 6km down a dirt track to find a sign at the end that the road was closed and no sign to say how far it was to walk it. Didn’t see another soul from the small town.....  more »

    By far my favorite waterfall in Tasmania. It's a short walk to the first waterfall and then you can keep going further up, there's s second waterfall and you can see the third. It's possible to access the fourth one, which you can see already from the upper platform from the second and third one, but since you couldn't really see the path that well because of plants and all that, we didn't go all the way up there. It's very beautiful!

    Relatively easy 20 minute round trip. Nice falls. Would be spectacular after a good drop of rain.
