  • Visited the highfield site on a windy cold day in august. The views of the nut across to stanley are magnificent. Well worth a visit for the history of the area.  more »
  • Fascinating walk through this historic home with some parts restored and other left in their original state. Make sure not to skip the outbuildings  more »

  • Great piece of Tasmanian history that I never knew about. Beautifully restored. Lovely gardens and interesting out buildings especially the school/chapel. Excellent views of The Nut from here.
