  • This hike/trail is nice but it’s seriously over rated. Get the number 9 bus from Shau Kei Wan to Tei Wan. Then the trail starts. Steps, rocks, very dangerous at points. Good views from the top but...  more »
  • This is one of the few pleasures left to Hong Kong amidst the Coronavirus crisis, namely hiking the trails that have , thankfully, not been a magnet for crowds thus far. But monitor the situation...  more »

  • This is great hike, beautiful views and reasonable close but completely separate from the Hong Kong jungle. There are multiple entry/exit points, and you accidentally find yourself very far from where you started. ( Just like we did !) Just be careful and plan well ;) Have fun !
  • I honestly wouldn't call this a hike as it truly isn't that challenging (if you start at the trail head, that is). You can walk it wearing anything. The trail is very well maintained with interpretive signs, Chinese pavilions, and even benches at certain viewpoints. What Dragon's Back does offer are unique vantage points of the East coast, Shek O, and Tai Tam bay. The mountain forest can also be very peaceful despite being so close to the city centre.
