Historic Site · Tourist Spot
Dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Dominic's Church represents a baroque-style church constructed in the late 16th century. The church was initially built with wooden planks for structure, but as the years went by and funding was available, the original planks were replace with quality timber. Be aware that only ten people are allowed up to the bell tower at a time. Because the church sits along Macau’s heritage trail, it can get crowded, so be prepared to share the space with others. • A pretty church with a large museum at the back worth visiting.
  • Sadly, it was under renovation when we went, so we could only see the upstairs museum. Still remarkable! Gorgeous site.
