Cape Apostolos Andreas (Greek: Ακρωτήριο Αποστόλου Ανδρέα, "Cape Saint Andrew"; Turkish: Zafer Burnu, "Cape Victory") is the north-easternmost point (promontory) of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus (35°41.70′N 34°35.20′E). It lies at the tip of the finger-like Karpass Peninsula.

The famous Apostolos Andreas Monastery is located 5 km south-West of the promontory itself.

The city of Latakia in Syria is located about 68 miles (109 km) to the east.

  • Many years ago me and my friend Dries drove by car to this most remote point of Northern Cyprus, the road was bad, but we drove slowly with a rental Jeep, The monastery was in bad condition, as many....  more »
  • Got to be done if you’re in the area. The approach road is rough in places but you don’t need a 4x4 if you take it steady, about 30 minutes on from the monastery. No facilities here so take water...  more »
  • The beautiful scenery. "The end"of Cyprus is really breathtaking.
  • A must see place, so peaceful and so far away. The road leading there is long and quite rough compared to other tracks but it is well worth the trip.
