Observation Deck · Landmark
Height characterizes Tallinna Teletorn, which features an observation deck and an opportunity to walk on its very edge. Visit the tower, which stands 314 m (1,030 ft) tall, and view its exhibits on television displays, Tallinn, and the country as a whole. Hop on the elevator to the tower's observation deck; at the top you'll be rewarded with panoramic views over the Gulf of Finland and Tallinn to the southwest. Digital overlays and multimedia stations allow you to see pictures of the area from years past or highlight certain features. If you're up for a thrill, try the "edge walk," where you can wander outside the observation area in a harness, or even rappel, dropping 175 m (574 ft) to the ground by rope. • If you want to look at the landscape of the city, then Teletorn - tv tower - is the place to visit. I think it's great for children as wall as for adults. The best season for visiting may be summer...  more »
  • We visited teletorn in August 2020, it was not busy, on the top floor there was little cafe where you can buy cake and coffee. In first floor there was souvenir shop.  more »

  • It was amazing to be on top of this tower and see the bird eye view of Tallinn. There is no additional entry fee if you've got the Tallinn pass. The staff was very helpful. A lift takes you to the top in no time. This tower has an interesting history. I loved spending time on the very top just outside the rooftop hotel. Would love to come here again someday.
  • The Tallinn TV tower is a great few-hour-excursion for friends and family alike. There is a platform walk and restaurant on the very top level, neither of which I partook. The second-to-top level offers the all around view of Tallinn and surrounding areas and an exhibit on DNA, which while interesting does not tie in directly with the TV tower itself. There is a gift shop with decent shirts and a few generic Estonian-branded souvenirs. Right outside the tower is cool armoured vehicle which was involved in the 91 coup that involved the TV tower as well.
