  • I was very satisfied with the visit, Museum curate and huge even though at the end of the round after having visited all hurt my feet. Very educational, varied, very well maintained and friendly staff who should leave their stuff (backpacks and jackets) in a drying room with lockers that close with a euro that you get back. Highly recommended to visit.

  • Every city has a Museum of natural history, weather permitting we try to inspect it. I have to say that Frankfurt is well groomed, well kept and clean. Each show is rich and detailed. A place where everyone big and small can learn about the world in which we live and know its history and nature. Low price and friendly staff. Easily accessible via public transport. Experience to take it slow and time available. The only flaw ... descriptions and often only in German, even in English.

  • Family loved this place and I did too! A must visit when here for a stay. Fascinated by the many different Elephant ancestors. A big thumbs up for the curators. Go visit you will like it.
  • This was an amazing place to visit especially being an international guest you get to see a lot of things you wouldn’t normally have the opportunity too. This museum has so much to see it takes hours to walk around the many levels . There it an enormous amount of effort and detail which has dedicated to make such a place. I would highly recommend a visit if you want a great few hours of history.
  • Good place to visit on a cold day Plenty to see although some more signs in English would be helpful. Unfortunately our visit was spoiled by 1 very rude member of staff from the kitchen .. not waiting staff. We have had a great time in Frankfurt and found everyone to be very friendly and helpful but this woman s attitude was terrible.
  • The place is really nice and informative, where one can find from dinosaura, whales to birds and insects. Very nice demonstrations for minerals under luminance. Keep Google translator handy and as most of the description is in German.
  • Excellent demonstration on nature everything in our earth, would give 5 star if all shown in English.

The old section of the Sachsenhausen area is also an epicenter of activity with a range of accommodations; it also offers a vibrant nightlife.
