  • The view is so good when you look at not the foreground ㅠ ㅠ picked up fortress of Würzburg seems to climb up an end ... There's plenty of space if you have time I think that's where you must

  • A visit to Würzburg was due, inter alia, the impressive fortress Marienberg, we have climbed also on the beautiful and scenic wine trail. The overall dimensions of the Castle and the plants are huge and steal their rank of one or the other more well known fortress in my personal ranking. Everything was received excellent or restored. I have rarely seen a so well restored system. Inside I was but (except in the castle restaurant ;-) not because the rooms really beeindruckenderen me and frescoes in the residence are housed.)

  • It is a bit of an effort to climb up the stairs to the get to the castle, but it is very worth it. Not only is the castle itself beautifully maintained, it also occupies a commanding position over the...  more »

  • We toured the grounds and part of the buildings on our own. Arrived by the city bus and then walked back to hotel on the other side of the river. Our group (two 50s and three early 20s) had a great afternoon at the castle complex. Enjoyed the restaurant too for a snack and liquid hydration. Recommended.
  • Beautiful little area with lots of visual touristy delights. They have an amazing bird's eye view of the town once you go into the terrace area. There's also a beautiful garden.
  • Great experience! Some construction going on so weren't able to see it all, but can't hold that against them
  • Great views and worth walk up. Walk is only 10 minutes from alte bridge. Under construction at top so look for tiny walkway to access the Queens Garden for the best view, and take a wine.
  • Great views f the city. Self guided tour with little English. It is a nice walk up
