  • In addition to the residence the next featured attraction. The climb is worth. About the garden of the "old" State garden show of less burdensome because there is much to see. The Outlook is famos and impressive building with its fortress walls.

  • Repair. Look outside only after a hearty lunch. In General, this is the route back and forth without much emotion. Beautiful park. From overlooking the city. Everything.

  • Imposing medieval building, the fortress houses a Museum and a gift shop, and a stylish café. The courtyard is open for visitation, but the Museum is paid. If you're staying in Wurzburg, is a compelling attraction.

  • Very impressive and large fortress, with a great view of the city. Two very nice and scenic routes up/down the hill. You can get an interesting and entertaining 45 min tour of the castle, that brings you to a few places you cannot see otherwise.
  • The walk up was a bit difficult, mostly because my kids wanted to take the stairs (steepest route) instead of the path (longer, not as steep). The views were great, and we had a relaxing visit at the biergartden before heading back down. It was a lovely spring day, and clear. I wouldn't recommend this if the weather isn't nice.
  • We toured the grounds and part of the buildings on our own. Arrived by the city bus and then walked back to hotel on the other side of the river. Our group (two 50s and three early 20s) had a great afternoon at the castle complex. Enjoyed the restaurant too for a snack and liquid hydration. Recommended.
  • Very cool. Huge fort, definitely a lot bigger than I was expecting. An awesome place to take walks around and snap some pictures. Very beautiful views of the city and old history everywhere you look. A definite must visit if you every visit the city.
  • Fantastic views and a nice walk going up. I recommend taking the short walk up and the long walk through the wineyards down. Up top, take the tours, as you have access to some parts that are otherwise closed off. They sell souvenirs, coffee, drinks and some snacks up there.
