A thousand-year-old Shinto site, Kanda Myojin has become the unlikely hub for pleasing the gods of technology and business acumen. A sort of mecca for technology enthusiasts, the shrine sells small talismans for safeguarding electronic devices from various harms. Ornately decorated and with a bright traditional exterior, the shrine sits within one of the most expensive areas in Tokyo. • Obligatory pilgrimage visit for fans of mu's from Love Live. It's very near Akihabara so if you're looking to step away from the hustle and bustle it might be worth a visit. Definitely climb the stairs to the top and see the rest of the shrine.
  • Came here for New Years Eve, it was quite an experience. Arrived at 11:30 and thought I'd need to wait for hours, but once the gate opened at midnight it all moved very quickly. Lots of food stands, fortune telling booths, and areas to buy trinkets. I expect Lunar New Year will be very similar.
