Take in panoramic views of Sapporo from atop Okurayama Lookout, a hilltop attraction of Olympic fame. Located below the observatory is the Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, a sports arena built for and used in the 1972 Winter Olympics. Unless the facilities are used for competitions, visitors can access the site's observatory by using the chair lift. Before or after your ride up to this popular vantage point, consider stopping at Sapporo Winter Sports Museum at the bottom of the hill, which features exhibits dedicated to the Olympics Games that took place here. 高所はかなり苦手なので気後れしましたが、折角のチャンスと意を決してリフトに乗りました。想像以上に高い場所まで来てしまってやや後悔・・・でもでも札幌一望、札幌ドームもキラキラ輝いて見え「勇気出して良かった！」(笑)しかし、帰りもまたあのリフトと知りアチャーな気分に。青い空を見上げて下を見ないようにしつつ無事下界に。スキージャンプの選手は凄いんだと改めて実感できました。 more »
I was not very good at high places, so I was shy, but I never got on the lift with the chance and intention of the angle. I'm a little regretful when I came to a place higher than I imagined... but Sapporo's view, Sapporo Dome also glittered and looked like "It was good to have the courage!" But on the way back, I felt like I was going to know that lift. Looking up at the blue sky and not looking down, I went to the underworld safely. 地下鉄を降りてのんびり歩いてたらバスに乗り遅れタクシーで向かいました。下から見上げると、あんなところまで行くのか・・・とビビりました。リフトの背もたれもちょっとしかなく、強風が吹くと止まりました。ドキドキしながら一番上まで行き、冷や汗かいたのにソフトクリーム食べました。展望台、帰りのリフトでは絶景を楽しみました。でも高所恐怖症の方にはお勧めできません。テレビでしかジャンプを見たことがなかったのです... more »
When I got off the subway and walked leisurely, I missed the bus and took a taxi. Looking up from the bottom, I was scared to see if I was going to go that far. There was only a little back of the lift, too, and it stopped when a strong wind blew. I went to the top with a pounding, and ate soft ice cream even though I sweated cold. We enjoyed the view at the observatory and the lift on the way back. However, it is not recommended for the person who is afraid of heights. I had only seen the jump on TV, but I was surprised at the point of arrival.View original
