Furano Ski Resort features two connected peaks, each offering fast runs, terrain parks, downhill courses, as well as a number of gentler slopes suitable for beginners. Take the super-fast ropeway and then a chairlift that will take you to the peak of the mountain, from where you can admire a panoramic view of the valley and the Tokachi Peak Mountain Range. The resort also includes areas that provide opportunities for snowmobiling, snow rafting, parasailing, and dogsledding. One of the best ski trips I've ever had. I was lucky with the weather as it snowed every day. Convenient backcountry areas that are easy to access without any backcountry gear. Would still not advice to go alone.
Never coming again. Few slopes and not much powder. The most frustrating thing is how inefficient everything is here. Not enough ticket counters (prepare to wait in line for ages) and slowest rental preparation I’ve ever experienced. Takes far too long to actually get on the slopes.
