A series of seven cascades, Kawazu Nanadaru Waterfalls present an idyllic spot for those looking for some peace and quiet away from a busy city. The site features paths and suspension bridges, making the exploration of the grounds easier. Several statues adorn the area, depicting the main character from the short story "Izu no Odoriko" (The Dancing Girl of Izu) by Kawabata Yasunari--a Japanese Nobel Laureate. • I went as a touring destination. To be honest, it's not as well known as The Joren Falls, so I thought there were only seven waterfalls, but that wasn't the case. I thought it would be nice to be able to see waterfalls from different directions. From the top of the waterfall, a lot of water flows in front of you, and it falls below. It's pretty close, too. It was the first time for me to see a waterfall like this. (I've only said falls as many as i can count.) It takes more than an hour to go around all seven waterfalls, and it takes a lot of time to climb and down. I was quite tired because it was shoes for the motorcycle. To begin with, i'm going to take a break in touring, but it's an unexpected exercise. It was quite hard to get back on the way back. In that sense, it's not for touring. Joren Falls is a great place to visit (laughs). Oh yes, on the way here, we pass under the loop bridge. Rather, the point was good. I passed by this time, but I think it's also good to take a picture of the bike in search of a good place.

  • It took about an hour to get around the seven waterfalls. It is all right to go back and forth by bus from Kawazu Station. However, if it is not shoes that it is easy to walk by all one such as sneakers, the rise and fall of the stairs do not hang. Even though I was 35 years old, i was thin, but how are you? There was an aunt like mule, too. I want to go again! It is recommended to sit next to the waterfall and watch it carefully alone. It might take about two hours. If you're going to a hot spring, it's a good place to go early in the morning.

  • Unbelievably beautiful. Will definitely come again! If you want to get to the higher falls, then there is quite a long staircase to climb but it was totally worth it.
  • Nature's beauty at it's best . . I visited in October. Water was so cold and refreshing.. would like to spend a lifetime here if barbeque is available.. :D
