Irabu-jima Island, Miyakojima

#2 of 14 in Nature in Miyakojima
Island · Nature / Park
Once isolated, today Irabu-jima Island exudes a laid-back, island lifestyle with quiet, paradisiacal beaches and unspoiled coral reefs. With hundreds of scuba diving spots, you'll have innumerable chances to explore the diverse underwater environments of the island, from shallow, boulder-laden sandy bays, to subaqueous limestone crevasses and caves--used as breeding grounds by a legion of colorful fish. The island's compact size makes exploring it rather easy: getting from one side to the other will take you about an hour and a half on foot. Alternatively, rent a bicycle from Miyako-jima, linked here by a handsome road bridge. • It is good from many places including the 17th END to enjoy the blue of the sea, diving in from the Sea also blue is different to enjoy should be. Have in diving spots of the Palace of the King, but here is really overwhelming. Scones and open shaft to a depth of 25 meters, light comes in there and wonder what came to the Palace in Nice sight to witness.

  • Under construction so far surprised many. Is in the area have been developed most rapidly in the Miyako Island. I felt a lot more lovely cottage is a large resort hotels and villas being built. I delighted in the new Inn, that is not nothing splendor, further development as sad.
