  • My 6yo son and I joined a snorkel tour (4 people total plus Mitsu-San the guide) at Shigara beach. It was the first time my son joined a tour and he did really well (we brought kid’s life jacket with ...  more »
  • Miyako Island trip with 5 families (eldest daughter of junior high school student, eldest daughter of third grader) and 4 days from December 25 to 28. On the third day I went snorkeling and caving. This time, we had a small group tour and we were the only family. This was very good. The children were very satisfied. Meet at the beach of Shiragii Resort at 10 o'clock and start looking for sea turtles and fish! It is not able to meet sea turtles, and it wanders a coral reef full of fishes. I was worried whether snorkeling could enjoy the first daughter and the eldest son, but I was relieved at the start from the beach. There were other which troupe in the same place, but our tour was the longest in the sea. Because I couldn't meet sea turtles, I went up to the shore once and searched for a sea turtles guide. I didn't find it, so I took lunch break. While taking lunch, such as Miyako soba in a nearby cafeteria, I talked about Miyako Island with a guide. After lunch, we moved to Waiwai Beach. To look for sea turtles again. Because the tide was in a fast place, I could not observe sea turtles slowly, but the eldest son was satisfied. After that, we went to Hoira-Sen beach for caving. I aimed at the cave by trekking in the sea instead of kayaking. On the way, the waves were high, and my heart was broken a little, but when I arrived at the cave, I was impressed by the mysterious scenery! Climbing the wall in the cave falls (? And finally jump from the top of the wall! It was a very fulfilling day. The guide was always very friendly and helpful to the children. Because it was a small number of people, to see the sea turtles, until I changed the location, I was satisfied with the search. Thank you very much.
