  • It is about an hour's drive from Himi city. Historic sites are scattered all over the mountaintops, so it is recommended to trek to the top of the mountain while enjoying them. It takes about an hour to get to the temple at the top of the mountain from the parking lot next to the museum. It took about a few hours to visit all historical sites. There are some places that are difficult to walk on the way, but autumn leaves are also beautiful, so I recommend them.

  • Mt. Ishido was a sacred place in Noto that people know, and once flourished as a base for mountain worship. It is a surprise scale because more than 300 temples were crowded in this mountain in the peak period. (Since the warring states period, the number of temples has decreased since the whole mountain burned down of Maeda's lords, and eventually it was destroyed by the abandoned Buddha's release in the Meiji era.)
