Kuromon Market Reviews
The only thing that caught my eye here was the Onigiri Burger store. It's filled with all sorts of souvenir shops, seafood / yakiniku shops. Also has a Shiba cafe with all sorts of exotic animals. more »
more »It was originally a civic market in the city centre and was famous for the crowds of people who bought new year's food at the end of the year. However, it was an impression with a little high as well as ameyoko etc. These days, it's fun to take a walk in a different way from shopping, with chairs and tables, and cooked or cooked ingredients, in turn into inbound targets in many stores.
Nice market with so many fresh seafood and meat! I tried the freshest oyster here and it goes so well with the citrus sauce. Imagine buying a 3000 yen sea urchin, but super worth it for an experience. It’s absolutely delicious when you wrap the sea urchin in the seaweed. We tried the grilled crab and prawn as well but unfortunately, they are not too juicy. Please also try the beef and melon. We also bought some food souvenirs and face products. This market will deplete your money but it is worth it. I would say Kuromon Ichiba is much better than Ameyoko.
We loved walking around the market and just picking whatever food that we wanted by looking at them. The food does get a little repetitive after awhile, so there's no harm waiting it out until you've explored the entire market. The market is clean, has toilets and also a nice free seating area for you to eat if you are carrying too much food to eat while standing. There are also plenty of stores to buy souvenirs (food and drugstore products) - get all of them done here for the convenience!
