Hokkaido Museum Morino Charenga, Sapporo

Excellent museum going over Hokkaido's history. Has plenty of artifacts and has descriptions in many languages. They also have a nice little Cafe there with good coffee.

Ha! I see classic Japanese style harsh criticism and I appreciate it, but this museum is good enough for foreign visitors and children. Let’s face it... the majority of the visitors should be travelers from abroad and parents with youngsters. Won’t hurt to have another ‘in-depth’ kind of display floor but I won’t be holding my breath for it.
