  • Once a grand castle that served the Samurai of the Sengoku Period and now a beautiful landscaped Park. The park contains the Municipal Museum and the Imizu Shrine in addition to a park which delights....  more »
  • The castle was destroyed in 1600s. Currently only moats and some walls remain as a reminder that a castle once stood here. The area believed to be the main keep in the past is now just an empty plot.....  more »
  • The ruins of the castle are well maintained in the park. There are no castle buildings, but there are also places to see, such as territory, moats, and stone walls. Haribote concriisi is better at all than there is a guardian.

Only moats and stone walls do not have any architectural remains. National Historic Sites: Takaoka Castle Ruins One of the 100 castles in Japan. It has been selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom spots in Japan.
