  • The old shoju factory was well maintained and was actually cooking rice, the first step in the process. The equipment are all there for us to see. Very interesting. Samples were given to taste 3...  more »

  • This review is mostly for the restaurant attached to the winery sales floor. We've enjoyed lunch here several times and while it is not the cheapest place, the lunch set menu includes self serve soup and salad plus coffee and tea. Pizza is made in a stone pizza oven and other dishes are also available. Personally I would prefer a slightly crisper and thinner pizza dough and the option to select toppings instead of the (sometimes rather weird Japanese style) selections offered. But in an area with not so many good restaurants, this is certainly worth a repeat visit. We've been to the wine sales floor once and can't really comment too much on that. Yoichi wine still has a ways to go before it becomes internationally competitive, in our opinion.
  • I didn't come to the restaurant of Ochigabi Winery with my children, so I visited here. It is saved by the preparation for a small child. I had carbonara and quattro formadge (pizza) with white miso. Carbonara was delicious because of the white miso. If it is not said, i do not think that there is miso in it. The good thing about pizza is that it has honey. Because there are a lot of shops sold separately. The taste of blue cheese is thick and firm, and it seems to become it. Very good. Niagara soft serve ice cream at a coffee shop after a meal. It's not much different from the usual milk taste and appearance, but it's a good Niagara. This one was also very good. I think I'll come again.
