4.2
#2 of 197 in Historic Sites in Yokohama
Historic Walking Area · Hidden Gem · Tourist Spot
Stroll along the embankment at Kishamichi Promenade, a defunct railroad-cum-boardwalk with three bridges and unhindered views of the city architecture. Along the way, you can stop at a good-sized amusement park, take a quiet moment for a coffee break, or jump on a boat to sightsee from the river. The well-kept promenade offers plenty of spots to relax and watch the world go by, so consider bringing along a little picnic. • The promenade is a nice place for a leisurely walk. Better to come at night. We came in the evening just before the sun set.  more »
  • Just a short promenade when walking from Sakuragicho station to the waterfront broadwalk. The Ferris wheel lights and their reflections off the water is beautiful at night.  more »
