Tucked inside a lavishly decorated garden and lush trees stands the oldest university in the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, dating all the way back to 1611. Admire the Victorian-style exterior, featuring a shabby stone facade embellished with numerous sculptures on top. Take a walk along the lover’s lane, winding from the picturesque stone archway through the serene garden with fountains, thick treetops, and romantic benches. The museum stretches over two floors; the first features a collection of stuffed animals from all around the world, while on the second you can admire fine ceramics, religious icons, paintings, coins, and medals. Despite being in the middle of the city, UST is very spacious inside, with many lamdmarks to see for free. you can see Spanish influences in the architecture. definitely enjoyed my visit! GoUSTeeeee more »
Greatest and most Historic university 🎓 in Philippines 🇵🇭. If you visit it once then it will be hardest place to leave.
well i studied there, most instructors doesnt teach just let you read your manuals at home and exhaust you with recorded test. some instructors doesnt appear for weeks like who i had for biochem and yet has the nerve to fail students. instructors of minor subjects puts big burden for their value. everything is about money. some of them just want to get extra payments to pass you. if you have no power, this place is not for you. for this school are only for those capable to pay their way through. field trips are forced to generate money, one of those i almost drown and the instructors are just looking. AFTER GRADUATING youll end up jobless and want to study more on hopefully far better than UST. Also there is a witchcraft ritual star inside the church, which makes it a hypocrite and demonic landmark.
