  • Best place in San Pietroburgo. Stay alert from child thieves, cause are dangerous for pocket.
  • The Palace complex of the State Hermitage is situated on the banks of Neva river, having amazing Baroque architecture, with wonderful collection of paintings and artefacts. Winter Palace, small Hermitage, Old Hermitage, New Hermitage, General Staff building and Alexander Column are part of complex. Sections of Italian Art, English Art, Russian Art, Flemish Art, French Art etc., Classical antiquity, Treasure Galleries, Numismatics, Jordan stair case, Peter Hall (small throne room, War gallery, Peacock clock, Leonardo da Vinci room, Large Throne room, Gold drawing room, Italian sky light hall, the Crouching Boy of Michelangelo, 19th century B.C. statue etc. are must watch. Needs minimum 4-5 hours to visit main areas of the complex and 6 pm is the closing time of Museum.
