  • This market is probably the most prominent attraction of Busan. Very similar to Seoul's Noryangjin market in size & varieties. We have been here 2 years back & also at Noryangjin before. But it...  more »

  • So many seafood options you won't know what to choose to eat or buy if you're there for the seafood. We went pretty early in the morning where there was no one there except us and the sellers. It was interesting to see all the raw seafood (live and dead) displayed. Maybe it was the restaurant we went into or because it's a touristy destination, the restaurant we ate in near the market was more expensive than I thought it'd be. Was still good though.
  • There's both the outdoor and indoor fresh & raw fish market where you can buy the raw material and bring up to any of the restaurants upstairs where they can cook for you at a fee charge that is clearly listed at all the restaurants. You can also choose to skip the raw fish market downstairs and just go straight to restaurants upstairs where they all have virtually the same menu. We eventually chose stall 36 called 渡边屋 where they have good service.
