  • I've been living in the area just for 45 days and it's crazy beautiful. Some people may find it messy and noisy but it was amazing to me as it helped me not to feel lonely in the huge Seoul. It's opened until late and from early morning you can go and find fresh fruit. The basement is full of nuts, dresses, spices and music shops, people are welcoming and easy to talk to even if you're not fluent in Korean. Plus, there is a lady selling veggies and fruit right after exit4 of the tube who has some of the best Asian Pears in town.
  • Expect to squeeze your way through people. It is very easy to get lost here so if you are not coming alone, always know where your partner(s) is. Also, don't wander too far without knowing the place because lots of shops look similar and you will get lost. Occasionally you might find a wall with a map printed on it, but I wouldn't rely on those. Be careful. Other than too many people and getting lost, there is a lot of good street food. This can be a good place to shop because they have almost everything.
