    Houcihu is a trail in the hills near Daxi. It is a very pleasant walk. You will have a guide. Unfortunately, English is almost entirely lacking. You will probably see some historic sights connected.....  more »

    A mysterious trail leading visitors to a tranquil, misty lake spotted with mei, cherry blossoms, this was a retreat for the former president, Chiang Kai-Shek, and his family. Grab a Lady Chiang-Soong's favorite coffee, osmanthus-flavoured coffee, and wander in the forest had been an unforgettable joy for me. Highly recommend people come visit and enjoy such a poetic place. Booking for a shuttle bus seat on line in advance is required. 寧靜、幽美、綠意、詩意，來此體驗這個有歷史意義的行在，點一杯特調桂花釀咖啡、配上一份蔣方良的家鄉甜點俄羅斯軟糖，保證不虛此行。
