Hukou Old Street, Hukou

It's a nice spot for having fun and relaxing. Especially, when you visit it on weekends, you can find out many vendors and stunning views. You can come to experience the traditional Hakka culture as well as the Hakka cuisine. There are wide parking lots, which is very convenient for travelers. There is also a hiking trail. After tasting the Hakka cuisine, you can take a walk in the back mountain and immerse yourself in nature.

Excellent local tourist spot that most foreign tourists won't come to visit because it's remote from the city. This street is filled with history and it really gives you a glimpse into the past. Lots of street food vendors selling very local Taiwanese Hakka snacks and other finger food. It is a short street, so you'll probably only spend at most one hour here unless you dine at one of the local restaurants on the street.
