  • The zoo was pretty large and well maintained. Was unfortunate to go on a Sunday since it was too crowded!  more »
  • Nice zoo with plenty of animals. It's a pretty large park with a train and gondola to get around. They have pandas  more »
  • Good and nice zoo, what one can see animals have it good. Many toilets and several places where you can buy drinks. Cool to go in to the birds in cages, not daughter without it flying around over a large network. It has Easy Card you avoid standing in line. Convenient to take the subway there.

  • Absolutely fantastic! It is a great experience for people of all ages. There are placards with interesting facts throughout the park. There are many animals in their natural habitats from around the world. There is a lesson for everyone in conservation. One thing to look out for is food locations. There are not many food vendors and the lines are long. Maybe bring your own food or go outside to eat.
  • Everything is good, shuttle bus is convenient form point to point and its only $5 per ride. Lot of animals in the zoo, too bad that day was a bit sprinkle and make this trip short. Maybe in the nearly future will go visit again. There is a family restaurant if need to grab a bit to eat. In the restaurant is fully around with animal toys, it let you feel like you are actually having meal with real animals. Warning......Kids might go wild.
  • We spent a lot of time here in Taipei Zoo yet it feels like we weren't able to see all the animals. The animals look like they're all taken care of so it wasn't that saddening to look at them in an enclosed space. There are food and souvenir stores at the entrance but there are also several stalls inside the zoo. Make sure to follow the signs so you won't get lost since the zoo is quite big and confusing. It was my first time seeing a Panda in person so I find it very memorable. Also, you can pay the entrance fee using the MRT card.
  • I love this zoo so much. One of great places in Taipei you should visit. It’s very very very nice place and a best choice for kids and family to come, discover, learn and play. This zoo is very large but extremely clean and without bad smells. Animals looks healthy. I really love Panda house and Penguins house.
  • The Taipei Zoo is one of the easiest, most friendly, and cleanest zoos I've seen around the world. It's also one of the most affordable which means there is no excuse not to go visit their pandas, tigers, and elephants. It tends to get crowded on the weekend but it's still not unbearable. I'd allocate at least 2 to 3 hours to cover the major exhibits and plan for a lot of walking. While they are light on food facilities, there is, of course, a 7-Eleven up front and a McDonald's if you're looking for a quick bite. Again, if you have a yo-yo card, you don't even have to buy advance tickets and you can just charge the 60 NTD per person on your card. In terms of getting here, just take the MRT to the Taipei Zoo station. It really couldn't be any easier.
