Haimen Tianxian, Zhongzheng District

A classic landmark of Keelung, about the site with historical structures of famous wars in the 19th. Be aware of the steep stairs,especially when take a trip here in rainy days. A beautiful and natural park,while bugs,spiders and unnamed insects are easily found aside the route ,so people who belong to sensitive group for these "native residents", remember to prepare a outer jacket in you bags .

Apparently it's closed due to renovation, but there is no sign that tells you so if you want to enter from the bus station, which I did. The view is still great, but apart from that there's nothing to see, except huge spiders, stray dogs and wilderness. I can't recommend going there, though it might be worth it if the place was being cared for and actually opened to the public.
