  • Computers are not as fast as i expected. Especially when i want to work with the internet. Last time when i used word program it was 2003 version. Lybrary system is a little bid ancient. All personal belongings should be left in the locker. Only paper and pencil can be taken with you. You cant take your bag with you, which means its very inconvinient. You see the library is big, and if i forgot anything in my bag i need to go downstars or use super slow elevator. I think not allowing taking bags with us is not an efficient decesion, because when we enter the library the security checkes our bags, everwhere are cameras put, there is a supervisor in any reading room, books are given in change of our library cards and we can return our books only after returning books, and before leaving bags are shown to the security once again. With this process its impossible than any book could be taken out. So why they dont allow take our bags with us?! What i dont like here is that most of employees dont have proffessional manner. Especially when i go to the locker place, the woman sitting there is irritatinng. The library has several study corners besides study rooms. There are arabic, korean, chinese, amercian corners available. You go there and get information relating to these places. Once i went to arabic corner, administrator and assistant we not welcoming and wished no will to assistant me with investigation of arabic world. I wanted to know about masters degree in Qatar, and they were no use to me. I have to highlight that i am not a conflicting person, and when this incidents occure its not due to me. The other time i wanted to go to South Korea, so i went to that center to learn language. Thrice i went there and during working time it was locked. The toilets in the library dont have papers. You find one in 7 rooms. I didnt see any liquid soup several times too. On the first floor of the library, there is a food zone, which is very convinient. Food is really affordable there, but i would not say tasty. I used to eat there often, before i got intoxicated from shashlik. So its better to eat there soup and manty. The plov there was delisious. For quality you have to pay, and for the money you pay there you get what i depicted above. In general library is the best one that i have seen in Tajikistan so far. Almost everything is well tought and made affordable to population. Library card costed 10 TJS, when i got it last year. And endless books and internet resources are availbale in this library. Its better than nothing.
