  • Caution rip-off at the entrance... not respond to a conversation at the entrance. They try to sell expensive tours and then tell it costs 200 baht if you want to hike alone. Do not pay and simply explore past the motor parking lot and alone on foot.

  • I had read about the backpacker that it was a quiet little walk in the jungle to get to a waterfall. Arriving at the junction of the road that leads to the waterfall there is a poor elephant that serves as a billboard... then you arrive in a parking lot where some scooters are parked. We are asked 100B per person to go to the "waterfall" 300B with a guide. We give 200B without discussing, he tells us that going back we have for 40 minutes and we are given a card on a piece of PQ very poorly explained and sticks!! We start to take the trail, it's better not to be in sandals because it slides ... we never found the waterfall after more than 20 minutes of walking, there is no sign, it's really a tourist trap ... In addition next to the car park there are 2 poor elephants with a seat on their backs waiting for tourists (I hope there will soon be more who will make this kind of undignified ballad) and an eco tourism that looks like a dump ... a fleeif you're at koh Lanta

  • It's very nice short trail in the middle of Ko Lanta. It's in a "jungle" so you don't feel so sweaty. We recommend to take trainers or some good sport sandals. They say in dry season there is not so much water, but it's a nice walk. On the way is also pretty cool bar where you can refresh:)
  • Nice walking to the waterfall. Thais will charge you 20B per motorbike and try to convinced you to hire a guide. You don't need them to get there. It is easy. Don't expect a lot of water in the dry season. Don't use flip flops to get here. Don't leave your belongings unattended, as there are monkeys on the waterfall waiting to get some food from them. Be aware of snakes on the trees.
