Northwest of the capital, Paju has become known for its cultural attractions, history, and proximity to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
Venture out of the city with trips to Goyang (Statue of Peace & Ilsan Lake Park). There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at DMZ Haemaru Village, make a trip to Dorasan Station, stop by Heyri Art Village, and take in the exciting artwork at Gallery G-an.
