On the 3rd (Thu), don't miss a visit to Imperial Palace, thendon't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, and then don't miss a visit to Shibuya Crossing. On the 4th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the natural beauty at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, admire the striking features of Tokyo Tower, thentake a stroll through Ginza, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Senso-ji Temple.

Istanbul, Turkey to Tokyo is an approximately 16-hour flight. You'll lose 6 hours traveling from Istanbul to Tokyo due to the time zone difference. Expect a bit warmer weather when traveling from Istanbul in September: highs in Tokyo hover around 32°C, while lows dip to 24°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Fuji.

Fuji is a city in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Kick off your visit on the 5th (Sat): get outside with Fujigawa Service Area - Inbound, look for gifts at Tago no Tsuki Honten, take in the awesome beauty at Mt. Iwamoto, thencontemplate in the serene atmosphere at Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, thengo for a walk through Obuchi Sasaba, and finally take some stellar pictures from Imamiya Tea Plantation.

Traveling by car from Tokyo to Fuji takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. In September, daytime highs in Fuji are 29°C, while nighttime lows are 25°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Sat) early enough to travel to Osaka.

On the 6th (Sun), make a trip to Tempozan Ferris Wheel and then find something for the whole family at Universal Studios Japan. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the historical opulence of Osaka Castle, have some family-friendly fun at Sunset Owl Cafe, thenvisit Dotombori District, and finally admire nature's wide array of creatures at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.

Start off your visit on the 8th (Tue): steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, thencontemplate the long history of Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Sanjusangendo Temple. On the next day, admire the natural beauty at Ryogen-in Temple, thentake in the spiritual surroundings of Kinkaku-ji, thendon't miss a visit to Nijo Castle, and finally wander the streets of Gion.
