The legendary birthplace of the Greek goddess Aphrodite and the capital of western Cyprus, the city of Paphos showcases an abundance of archaeological, architectural, and historical sites.
Get out of town with these interesting Paphos side-trips: Akamas Peninsula National Park (in Neo Chorion), Pano Panayia (Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery & Vouni Panayia Winery) and Baths of Aphrodite (in Latchi). There's still lots to do: make a splash at Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark, take in the pleasant sights at Paphos Harbour and Port, take in the dramatic natural features at Aphrodite's Rock, and make a short side trip with Horse Riding Paphos - Eagle Mountain Ranch.
