The capital city of an eponymous province, Kanchanaburi is a pleasant town with lively markets and a good selection of restaurants.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Fri): take in the natural beauty of Rock Valley Hot Spring & Fish Spa, thentour the pleasant surroundings at Sawadi Saiyok Jungle Adventure, and then take in the awesome beauty at Tham Phu Wa Temple. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the different monuments and memorials at Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, take in the spiritual surroundings of Wat Tham Sua, and then don't miss a visit to Wat Ban Tham.
