One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): get a taste of the local shopping with Myeongdong Shopping Street, then admire the landmark architecture of Changdeokgung Palace, and then explore the historical opulence of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Keep things going the next day: explore the activities along Cheonggyecheon Stream, take an in-depth tour of National Museum of Korea, then learn about all things military at The War Memorial of Korea, and finally get great views at N Seoul Tower.

Sydney, Australia to Seoul is an approximately 14-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. You'll gain 1 hour traveling from Sydney to Seoul due to the time zone difference. One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sun): examine the collection at Gyeongju National Museum, contemplate the long history of Bulguksa Temple, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Seokguram. On the next day, contemplate the long history of Cheonmachong Tomb, contemplate the long history of Gyeongju Historic Area, steep yourself in history at Cheomseongdae Observatory, then contemplate the waterfront views at Anapji Pond, and finally contemplate the long history of Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond.

Traveling by combination of flight and bus from Seoul to Gyeongju takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight, taxi, and train; or drive. When traveling from Seoul in November, plan for little chillier days in Gyeongju, with highs around 10°C, while nights are a bit warmer with lows around 8°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
On the 6th (Tue), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggung Temple, then stroll through Haeundae Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Gwangalli Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at UN Memorial Cemetery, then get great views at Taejongdae, then browse the eclectic array of goods at Jagalchi Market, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Beomeosa Temple.

You can drive from Gyeongju to Busan in 1.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of bus and subway; or take a train. When traveling from Gyeongju in November, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Busan: temperatures range from 18°C by day to 6°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Seogwipo.

Jeju Island's second city, Seogwipo acts as a base for explorations of the island's south.
You'll get in some beach time at Hyeopjae Beach and Hamdeok Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Sangumburi Crater and Cheonjiyeon Falls. Take a break from Seogwipo with a short trip to Hallim Park in Jeju, about 1h 15 min away. There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic scenery at Jeongbang Waterfall, explore the striking landscape at Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff, kick back and relax at Yongmeori Beach, and examine the collection at Teddy Bear Museum Jeju.
