Originally a small fishing village, Portimão today serves as one of the most populated towns in the Algarve and also a favorite spot for sailing.
Take a break from the city and head to Falesia Beach and Praia Da Rocha. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Cape Saint Vincent and Lagos Farol da Ponta da Piedade. Venture out of the city with trips to Praia dos Olhos de Água (in Olhos de Agua), Lagos (Praia do Camilo, Ponta Da Piedale, &more) and Fort of Santo Antonio de Belixe (in Sagres). Next up on the itinerary: kick back and relax at Praia da Marinha and stroll through Praia da Luz.

Fátima is a civil parish in the municipality of Ourém, in the Portuguese Santarém District. On the 1st (Fri), take in the exciting artwork at St. Andre Arte Sacra, take in the spiritual surroundings of Batalha Monastery, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Capela Das Aparicoes, then pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica da Santissima Trindade, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima.
