Island of the Gods

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Step out of Jeju with an excursion to Seongsan Ilchulbong in Seogwipo--about 1h 15 min away. There's lots more to do: explore the fascinating underground world of Manjanggul Cave, admire the natural beauty at Hallim Park, stroll around Sarabong Park, and take in the pleasant sights at Handam Coastal Trail.

Mumbai, India to Jeju is an approximately 13-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 3.5 hours traveling from Mumbai to Jeju. Traveling from Mumbai in October, expect nights in Jeju to be slightly colder, around 23°C, while days are colder, around 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Fri) so you can fly to Busan.

Busan

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Sat): kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach, take some stellar pictures from Taejongdae, and then stroll around Yongdusan Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of Beomeosa Temple, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggungsa, and then stroll through Haeundae Beach.

Traveling by flight from Jeju to Busan takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. Traveling from Jeju in October, Busan is little chillier at night with lows of 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

Gyeongju

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Mon): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Bulguksa Temple and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Seokguram. On the 11th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the waterfront views at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond and then examine the collection at Gyeongju National Museum.

You can drive from Busan to Gyeongju in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 23°C in October, and nighttime lows around 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Tue) to allow enough time to fly to Sokcho.

You can fly from Gyeongju to Sokcho in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In October, plan for daily highs up to 22°C, and evening lows to 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Seoul.
