Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Senso-ji Temple and Ghibli Museum Mitaka. Museum-lovers will appreciate Tokyo National Museum and The Hakone Open-Air Museum. Tel Aviv, Israel to Tokyo is an approximately 15- hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. The time zone changes from Israel Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 7 hour difference. Traveling by train from Tokyo to Kyoto takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. In October, daily temperatures in Kyoto can reach 27°C, while at night they dip to 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 9th (Wed) early enough to catch the train to Osaka.
