Get out of town with these interesting Hakone-machi side-trips: Otago Beach (in Nishiizu-cho), Katase Higashihama Beach (in Fujisawa) and Lake Kawaguchi (in Fujikawaguchiko-machi). There's more to do: explore the activities along Lake Ashi (Ashinoko) and admire the sheer force of Sunset Falls.
