One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Hwaseong Fortress and Bongeunsa Temple are good opportunities to explore the local culture. DMZ and Deoksugung will appeal to history buffs. Take a break from Seoul with a short trip to The Third Tunnel in Paju, about 1h 30 min away. Next up on the itinerary: appreciate the extensive heritage of Changgyeonggung Palace, steep yourself in history at Namsangol Hanok Village, make a trip to Gwanghwamun Gate, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Myeong-dong Cathedral.

Singapore, Singapore to Seoul is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. Traveling from Singapore to Seoul, you'll lose 1 hour due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Singapore in December, things will get cooler in Seoul: highs are around 3°C and lows about -5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 9th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Incheon.

Start off your visit on the 10th (Mon): tour the pleasant surroundings at Songdo Central Park, tour the pleasant surroundings at Eurwangni Beach, and then don't miss a visit to Chinatown.

Incheon is very close to Seoul. In December, daytime highs in Incheon are 3°C, while nighttime lows are -3°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Mon) so you can go by car to Chuncheon.

The capital of the country's northernmost province, the city of Chuncheon acts a gateway to the wilder sights of the rural region.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Tue): find something for the whole family at Gangchon Rail Park, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Cheongpyeongsa, and then take in the views from Soyang River Sky Walk.

Traveling by car from Incheon to Chuncheon takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of subway and train. December in Chuncheon sees daily highs of 3°C and lows of -5°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) early enough to drive to Pyeongchang-gun.

A northern county in the Taebeak Mountain region of South Korea, Pyeongchang offers a plethora of year-round alpine resorts.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Wed): contemplate the long history of Jangneung, get to know the fascinating history of Korean Peninsula-shaped Cliffs (Seonam Village), then steep yourself in history at Jangneung, and finally see the interesting displays at Lee Hyo-seok Memorial Hall.
