One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.Hwaseong Fortress and Bongeunsa Temple are good opportunities to explore the local culture. DMZ and Deoksugung will appeal to history buffs. Take a break from Seoul with a short trip to The Third Tunnel in Paju, about 1h 30 min away. Next up on the itinerary: appreciate the extensive heritage of Changgyeonggung Palace, steep yourself in history at Namsangol Hanok Village, make a trip to Gwanghwamun Gate, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Myeong-dong Cathedral.

Singapore, Singapore to Seoul is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. The capital of the country's northernmost province, the city of Chuncheon acts a gateway to the wilder sights of the rural region.Kick off your visit on the 11th (Tue): find something for the whole family at Gangchon Rail Park, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Cheongpyeongsa, and then take in the views from Soyang River Sky Walk.
