Lying in the Tamar Valley and surrounded by forested hills, the grid-patterned city of Launceston boasts shaded avenues, vibrant street life, and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Holm Oak Vineyards and Entally Estate. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Launceston: Coles Beach (in Devonport), Woolmers Estate (in Longford) and Turners Beach Berry Patch (in Turners Beach).
