Winchester is a city and the county town of Hampshire, England. Discover out-of-the-way places like The Great Hall and The Vyne. Bournemouth is a large coastal resort town on the south coast of England directly to the east of the Jurassic Coast, a 155km World Heritage Site. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Hengistbury Head Beach and Chesil Bank (Chesil Beach). Buckingham Palace and Model Village Gardens & Cafe will appeal to history buffs. Change things up with these side-trips from Bournemouth: St Andrew's Church (Avalanche) (in Isle of Portland), Houses of Parliament (in London) and RSPB Weymouth Wetlands at Radipole Lake Nature Reserve (in Weymouth). The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Shell Bay, stroll through Alum Chine Beach, see the interesting displays at Upside Down House, and walk around Lower Gardens.
