A global center of finance and transportation, Frankfurt is perhaps best known for its futuristic cityscape.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Stefans Wine Paradise and Wilhelmstrasse. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Beilstein Castle/Burg Metternich and St. Elizabeth Church. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Frankfurt: Lutherische Pfarrkirche St. Marien (in Marburg), Eberbach Abbey (in Eltville am Rhein) and Schlossgarten Fulda (in Fulda).
