Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo National Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Let the collections at Edo-Tokyo Museum and The National Art Center, Tokyo capture your imagination. There's lots more to do: admire the striking features of Tokyo Tower, get curious at National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation Miraikan, take in nature's colorful creations at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and don't miss a visit to Shibuya Crossing.

Debrecen, Hungary to Tokyo is an approximately 20-hour flight. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually an 8 hour difference. Traveling from Debrecen in November, expect Tokyo to be somewhat warmer, temps between 19°C and 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sat) so you can travel to Kyoto.

Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Nijo Castle will appeal to history buffs. Kinkaku-ji and Sanjusangendo Temple are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In November, plan for daily highs up to 19°C, and evening lows to 10°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Osaka.
