Kyoto
— 14 nights

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Kyoto Railway Museum and Sannenzaka Ninenzaka. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kyoto: Suzuka Circuit (in Suzuka), Osaka (Food Tours, Umeda Sky Building, &more) and Horyu-ji Temple (in Ikaruga-cho). There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Sanzen-in Temple, admire the natural beauty at Okochi Sanso Garden, tour the pleasant surroundings at Nanzen-ji Temple, and take in the local highlights with Walking tours.
