The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Get out of town with these interesting Jeju side-trips: Seogwipo (Seongsan Ilchulbong, Cheonjiyeon Falls, &more). Spend the 19th (Sat) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's lots more to do: head off the coast to Udo, enjoy the sand and surf at Gwakji Gwamul Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at Hyeopjae Beach, and go for a walk through Handam Coastal Trail.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Busan is known for beaches, shopping, and historic sites. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: enjoy the sand and surf at Haeundae Beach, make a trip to Seokbulsa Temple, stroll through Gwangalli Beach, and take in the views from Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

Fly from Jeju to Busan in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. In March, daily temperatures in Busan can reach 16°C, while at night they dip to 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Tue) early enough to drive to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
On the 23rd (Wed), explore the activities along Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Bulguksa Temple.

You can drive from Busan to Gyeongju in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Busan in March, expect nights in Gyeongju to be about the same, around 5°C, while days are a bit cooler, around 5°C. One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
When in Seoul, make a side trip to see The Third Tunnel in Paju, approximately Paju away.
