The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Fri): explore the world behind art at Busan Museum of Art, kick back and relax at Haeundae Beach, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggung Temple, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Beomeosa Temple. One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Cheomseongdae Observatory, see the interesting displays at Gyeongju National Museum, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Bulguksa Temple, and finally pause for some photo ops at Seokguram. For shopping fun, head to Arario Museum Tapdong Cinema or Dongmun Market. O'Sulloc Tea Museum and Jeju Hangil Memorial Hall will appeal to museum buffs. When in Jeju, make a side trip to see Seongsan Ilchulbong in Seogwipo, approximately 1h 20 min away.
