The Heart of Tasmania

Lying in the Tamar Valley and surrounded by forested hills, the grid-patterned city of Launceston boasts shaded avenues, vibrant street life, and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Wine Tours & Tastings and Iron Pot Bay Vineyard. Visiting Cataract Gorge Reserve and Lilydale Falls will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Launceston: Tamar Valley Art Shack (in Clarence Point), Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre (in Beaconsfield) and Holm Oak Vineyards (in Rowella). Port Arthur

Coles Bay
